IMAGINEBC YEAR END 2025 

CONTEST 

OFFICIAL RULES – NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. 

1) Eligibility: This Game is open to any individual Member of the GainForMe Community that is a legal resident of South Africa, possess a valid South African ID or a valid passport and has verified their identity using the Entry Verification process within the GainForMe Application (“Eligible Member”). Limit one (1) eligibility / entry per person, regardless of the number of mobile numbers, devices, accounts, email addresses, or other identifiers used. Any attempt to obtain more than one (1) eligibility / entry by using multiple mobile numbers, devices, accounts, or other methods may result in disqualification and/or voiding of all associated entries, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In addition, entries generated by script, macro, mechanical or other automated means and entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Multiple entries received from any person in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Eligibility of individual registrations will be at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, for any reason or for no reason1. 

Any person who is under 18 years old, an employee, contractor, officer, director, agent or other representative of Sponsor, or of any of its affiliates or agencies, and all members of such person’s immediate family and people living in the same household with such person, are not eligible for the Prize. 

The Contest is void where prohibited by law, and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. 

2) How to Enter: New and existing Eligible Members are automatically enrolled in the Game. 

3) Active Game Period: This Game begins on December 12, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. UTC Time (7:00PM EST) and ends at 11:59PM UTC (6:59PM EST) Thursday January 1, 2026, the “Game Period”. Each Active Weekly Game begins at 12:00 a.m. UTC on Friday and ends at 11:59 p.m. UTC on Thursday the following week (each, an “Active Weekly Period”), unless earlier terminated in accordance with paragraph 6 below. 

4) Prize Drawings: Sponsor’s decisions as to the administration and operation of the Game, including drawings and the selection of the potential winners are final and binding. 

Beginning Friday, December 19, 2025, and continuing each Friday through January 2, 2026, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during each Active Weekly Period. Each Eligible Member will automatically receive one (1) entry for each of the following: 

• Successfully linking a Shoprite Money Market account AND Xtra Saving card number to the Eligible Members GainForMe wallet in the GainForMe Application the “MMA Entry”. ∙

• Successfully completing the Streaming Service member survey from the reward page of GainForMe Application prior to 12 - 21 December, 2025, the “Streaming Entry”. Any Eligible Member that completed the Streaming Service survey prior to the Game Period will automatically receive a Streaming Entry. 

• Successfully completing the Banking member survey between 22 – 28 December 2025 in the GainForMe Application during the Game Period, the “Banking Entry”. 

• Successfully completing the Beverage Preference member survey between 29 December 2025 and 1 January 2026 in the GainForMe Application during the Game Period, the “Beverage Entry”. 

1 Any Member that has had their account inactivated by the Sponsor, in accordance with the GainForMe Application terms and conditions, is not eligible.

Accordingly, each Eligible Member may receive up to a maximum of five (5) total entries during the Game Period (1 base entry + 1 MMA Entry + 1 Streaming Entry + 1 Banking Entry + 1 Beverage Entry). 

Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of Eligible entries throughout each Active Weekly Period. Eligible Members are eligible for only one weekly Prize during the Game Period. 

The potential Prize Winner will be announced through the Sponsor mobile application no later than three (3) business days after the end of the Active Weekly Period. In addition, Sponsor will attempt to contact the potential Prize Winner using any available means, including but not limited to telephone (cell phone), email, or mailing address, as may have been provided to Sponsor. If the potential Prize Winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, is ineligible, or does not claim the Prize within two (2) days of the drawing (or the first notification attempt, as determined by Sponsor), the potential Prize Winner will forfeit all rights to the Prize. In such event, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award the Prize to an alternate winner selected at random from the remaining eligible entries, or elect not to award the Prize. Sponsor shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive, access, or respond to any notification attempts. 

5) The Prizes: The following prize will be awarded after each Active Weekly Period during the Game Period (a total of three (3) of each). Winners will be randomly selected from all Eligible Entries as of each Thursday at 11:59PM UTC during the Game Period 

• ImagineBC Points: One Eligible Member will receive 350 ImagineBC Points (the “Points Prize”). Sponsor will arrange for the Prize to be deposited in the weekly winner’s withdrawable balance in the GainForMe Application no later than five (5) days after all requirements of these rules are satisfied. 

The monetary or redeemable value of Points will be disclosed in-app and denominated in ZAR equivalents, as required under the CPA. 

Prizes are non-transferable. If you are unable or unwilling to accept your prize, we may award it to a runner-up. No substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. 

6) Game Termination: Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest during an Active Weekly Period if fraud, technical failures, regulatory requirements, or any event beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control compromises the fairness, security, or proper administration of the Contest. In addition, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate this Game at the end of any Active Weekly Period, and prior to the next Active Weekly Period beginning, at any time with or without notice and with or without reason. In the event of termination, prizes already validly awarded prior to termination will not be withdrawn. 

7) General Prize Conditions: a) The Prize winner will be required to provide proof of identity, verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, and, a complete written Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Form, , all of which must be received fully-executed within five (5) business days of receipt or such potential prize winner will forfeit all rights to the Prize, and b) the winner is responsible for any and all local, state and/or federal taxes, and any other costs and expenses not specified herein as being awarded. 

8) Publicity Release: 

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA), publicity use of a winner’s name, likeness, or other personal attributes will only occur with the winner’s explicit written consent at the time of prize award. Such consent will be voluntary and may be withheld without affecting eligibility to receive the prize. 

9) Violations of Game Rules: Eligibility of individual entries, and the determination of violations of these game rules, will be at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor may, at its sole discretion for any reason or for no reason suspend or terminate a Members account for violation of these game rules. Upon such termination, Member will forfeit any winnings that they have received that the Sponsor considers to have been earned in violation of these rules.

10) Data Privacy and Protection: By entering, participants consent to the collection and processing of personal information (including mobile phone number and identity verification data) for the purpose of administering the Game. Personal data may be transferred outside of the participant’s country of residence, including to the United States. ImagineBC will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border transfers, consistent with global data protection standards. 

This processing will comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Entrants have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data and may direct queries to support@gainforme.com. 

11) Limitations of Liability: Sponsor, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, advertising and promotion agencies, all local sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, and any and all Internet servers and access provider(s) (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, server providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Game; inability to access the GainForMe application; referrals that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website. By registering to be a member of the GainForMe community, all members agree to release the Released Parties from and against all claims and damages arising in connection with each member’s participation in the Game. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A MEMBER TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE GAINFORME APPLICATION OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH MEMBER TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded. You further understand and agree that all rights under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of California and any similar law of any state or territory of the United States that may be applicable with respect to the foregoing release are hereby expressly and forever waived. You acknowledge that Section 1542 provides that: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR.” The releases hereunder are intended to apply to all claims not known or suspected to exist with the intent of waiving the effect of laws requiring the intent to release future unknown claims. Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, gross negligence, or for any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. 

Nothing in these Rules limits or excludes the mandatory rights of South African consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA) or the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). South African participants retain the right to enforce their statutory protections in South African courts, regardless of the U.S. governing law provisions above. 

12) Disputes/Governing Law : All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrant, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, USA without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions which would cause the application or the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Maryland. Any action or litigation concerning this Agreement shall take place exclusively in the federal or state courts sitting in Montgomery County, Maryland, USA, and you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waive all defenses of lack of jurisdiction and inconvenient forum with respect to such courts. Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Game, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. You agree to service of process by mail or other method acceptable under the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH

ENTERING THIS GAME. YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO ATTORNEY'S FEES, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ENTRANT, IDENTIFIABLE PERSONS, OR THIRD PARTY PARTICIPANTS, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE. 

Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any statutory rights that cannot be waived under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). South African participants retain all mandatory rights under these laws, and no waiver or release in these Rules shall be interpreted as limiting or excluding those rights.
